About me

I have been tuning pianos in Winchester and the surrounding areas for 40 years.

After completing the Piano Tuning and Repairs training course at Newark Tech (DipNTC and CGLI) in 1981, I moved to Winchester to join Whitwams Music Shop as one of their tuners. I have been freelance since leaving Whitwams in 1984.

Customers past and present include:

• Freelance work for Steinways to cover concerts tunings across Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire, West Sussex and Wiltshire

• Tuners Sims Concert Hall, Southampton

• Music Dept. University of Southampton

• TVS and BBC tunings for TV shows

• Local recordings and numerous concerts
